Environmental initiatives across our operations.
At Lynddahl, we work with environmental initiatives in line with the Matters Group 2030 strategy. This includes the use of recycled materials, investments in renewable energy, and reprocessing production scrap into new products.
Drawing on extensive expertise in materials and manufacturing, we develop hose solutions that can incorporate up to 60% post-industrial recycled plastic in selected applications. We also reprocess up to 95% of our own production scrap into new products, even when it contains a mix of different plastic types and fibres.

Because action matters.
We focus on resource optimisation. By drawing on extensive expertise in materials and manufacturing, we develop hose solutions that can incorporate up to 60% post-industrial recycled plastic in selected applications. We also invest in renewable energy and continuously refine our production processes to make the most of available materials.
Today, up to 95% of our own production scrap is reprocessed into new products, even when it contains a mix of different plastic types and fibres. This capability is built on decades of experience in polymer processing and material development.
Many of our environmental initiatives depend on close collaboration throughout the value chain. We work together with suppliers, customers, and partners to align materials, processes, and working methods with Lynddahl’s approach and requirements.
Through ongoing dialogue and collaboration, processes and materials are continuously refined to support product development, manufacturing, and environmental initiatives across our operations.
Lynddahl is certified according to the ISO 14001 standard, which documents that our environmental management system is firmly in place. This means that environmental considerations are integrated into all processes, methods and products with clear goals and a continuous focus on minimizing resource use and environmental impact. Our environmental objectives are part of everyday life, and all employees are familiar with them.
Lynddahl is part of VANA, a collective scheme that helps us meet the new requirements for producer responsibility on packaging. From 2025, we will be responsible for the packaging we place on the market—throughout its entire lifecycle. Together with VANA, we work to reduce packaging, select more recyclable materials, and ensure effective collection and handling of packaging waste. This supports a circular approach and helps close the loop on packaging.
Since 2019, Lynddahl has calculated its greenhouse gas emissions as part of the Klimaklar Manufacturing Companies initiative. The data is used to monitor energy consumption and track Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions across the organisation.
By measuring and reviewing emissions data on an ongoing basis, we gain insights that support follow-up activities and environmental initiatives throughout our operations.
As part of Operation Clean Sweep®, we work systematically to prevent plastic granulate from entering the environment. Our production setup includes measures designed to prevent granulate spills, and all relevant employees are trained to prevent, collect, and handle any spills as part of our environmental management system.
Lynddahl has been awarded a Bronze Medal by EcoVadis, recognising our efforts to strengthen responsible business practices across our operations and value chain. EcoVadis evaluates companies within Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
The assessment provides valuable insights that support our continuous work to improve processes, documentation, and environmental performance across the business.
We use reusable pallets from PRS Pooling. The pallets are made from FSC®-certified wood and are collected, inspected, repaired when needed, and returned to the pooling system for continued use.
Lynddahl holds a PRS Green Label certificate in recognition of our participation in the PRS pooling system.
Since January 2021, all Lynddahl’s operations have run on renewable energy from certified European sources. This is a key part of our ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental and climate impact.
